There is only a couple of blogs I actually read and follow, Lynn & Horst is one of them. I love how he includes a combination of Art, Fashion, and Architecture. I look forward to each new post, because I find them to be informative, interesting, and some even inspiring. Well I was most recently inspired by Horst's "Straps & Strings" series, and felt compelled to create my own rendition of a look that incorporated a strap, which I luckily found in my father's storage room. The aesthetic is very soft and clean, yet it possesses a provocative edge to it.

P.S. In relation to this post, I was asked By Horst if I was interested in contributing a piece for his Art Deparment Series, and I of course immediately said yes! I am still not sure if I will be doing an illustration or a character transformation that captures the essence of Lynn & Horst, but I've been thinking about it and have already thought of some ideas. I guess we will have to wait and see what I do.

This concept/look was not suppose to happen, it was not what I had in mind for this character. Originally the theme was "Pris goes to the beach", a look inspired by Pris (played by Daryl Hannah) from the movie Blade Runner, and I was going to wear bright neon colors, but after trying on a bunch of stuff, I had a change of mind and decided to switch to a black ensemble. And then after picking out a final look, I though that it would probably be best if I made the images black and white, once I was ready to edit them. But after I was done taking pictures, and sat down to edit them, I was playing with different color filters and loved how they looked when they were switched to a high contrast. So I suppose I created a entirely new character. I got so nauseous during this photo shoot from tossing my head back and forth, and side to side, just to get that hair in motion look. I felt like I was going to throw up afterwards! >___<

Basically, I was sort of inspired by Cabaret, but I took that inspiration to a darker side. I shaved my legs, and arms just for this character, and now I feel so weird. =/

It was such a beautiful day today, here in Southern California, so I decided to take advantage of the great weather and have a photo-shoot outside. It was also a great opportunity to finally wear my Phillip Lim trousers, which I bought at a thrift store for only $2! They fit me perfectly, and I love that they are very light. Hopefully I get a chance to wear them out more, if/and when I go out, which right now seems like never since I am so beyond broke. I need a job ASAP!

I was listening to Grimes all day, and watching past Prada shows, and that is where the inspiration for this look came from. I am so obsessed with Grimes right now, my favorite song is Crystal Ball. Everytime I listen to it, I am filled with a mixture of emotions, mostly good. Anyways, the hat is something I made a while back, but never wore until now. It is made out of those pine cone things, I'm not sure exactly what they are called. The wig has actually been featured a lot through out my blog, but you would probably not recognize it because I'm always transforming it. I painted white streaks on it and then brushed it out to create a frizzy look. Oh yeah, I shaved my face today, just for this character. I think it was worth it, I really like the results of this transformation. =)

I have never transformed into two completely different looks in one day/night, but last night after I posted my previous post, I was listening to 80's goth electronica/new wave, and immediately felt a sudden rush of inspiration to play dress-up again. I've always loved 80's electronica/new wave music, and the fashion from that era, so I suppose this look is an homage to that. I've been wanting to wear that kimono style top for the longest time, but never figured out how to create a look around it, until now. I love the graphic print on it, and how casual it is, yet it's very dramatic and fun. I bought the spike choker at a thrift store about a month ago, and I am so happy I finally had the perfect opportunity to wear it. And as for the hair piece, again I was intending to use that for another concept, but I should know by now that I always have a change of mind, and end up creating an entire new look by mixing different pieces/elements together. P.S. This character/look makes me miss my septum piercing. I've had it pierced twice before, but I got bored of it so I took it off and let the hole close. I've been wanting to get something pierced, but I don't think I could get my septum done again, I'll probably just pierce a second hole into my right ear. Something simple like that.

Well I had yet another transformation, this time I decided to buzz off all my hair and eyebrows (I didn't shave them off, but they are significantly shorter). This somewhat radical change was sort of inspired by Ève Salvail's character in The Fifth Element. Every time I watch that movie, I feel inspired in one way or another. As for the outfit, the jeans and boots were part of a concept I was intending to use for another photo-shoot, but they worked so well with this look, so I guess the other vision I had in mind is now canceled. A lot of the outfits I wear when I transform myself into different characters are just for fun, and not intended to be worn out in public, but this outfit (the one with the jacket and fishnet shirt, minus the hat) I would definitely wear out!

This photo-shoot and look was inspired by Edie Sedgwick, she is one of my favorite style icons. I became obsessed with her when I first learned about her, in high school. I remember I use to print pictures of her, and put them in my binder behind the clear plastic cover. I wish I had lived through the 60's, fashion and style was so much better back then. I've always wanted to dress up as Edie Segwick for Halloween, but I very seldom go out, so I've never had the chance to do it. Well I decided to take advantage since I don't have facial hair at the moment, and dress up as her. I wish I had my other ear pierced, and that I had big chandelier earrings, that would have definitely made the look a lot more better. But I suppose I did the best I could with what I have.

I'm never completely happy about the way I look, I'm always making changes, so yeah, I got rid of the mustache today. I want my beard back! But anyways, this mirror concept was a total accident, and not a good one. I broke one of the sliding door mirrors to my closet as I was trying to use it as a light reflector. As if my luck wasn't already bad enough! Oh well, I'm over it. Maybe it was meant to be, after all I've always wanted to take a picture using a shattered mirror.lol.

I mentioned a few posts back that I bought a bunch of new movies for my birthday, well one of them was A.I. Artificial Intelligence. I pretty much love all science fiction movies that take place in the future, mostly because of the costumes. It's been a very long time since the last time I saw A.I. so I forgot what the characters looked like and what the plot was. When Gigolo Joe (a mecha/android), first appeared, I instantly felt inspired by the way he looked. I loved how flawless he appeared; his hair didn't move, his makeup was perfect, and his costume was clean and simple, but very dramatic. After watching it, I knew I had to come up with an outfit/character inspired by A.I.. My plan at first was to shave my face, which I was not very excited about because I hate the way I look when I don't have any facial hair, so I decided to just leave the mustache, and work with it. I painted my hair blue using acrylic paint (yeah I know, sounds like a stupid thing to do, but I work with what whatever I have.lol.), and I darkened my mustache and eyebrows using black Halloween face paint. As for what I'm wearing, the blazer I've had for a couple of years ago, but I have never worn it because I really don't like pyramid studs anymore. And underneath I'm wearing a vinyl jacket, that you can't really see, and a turtle neck sweater. I had a lot of fun creating this look, but it was not fun afterwards when I had to wash off all the paint from my hair. >__<

I spent most of my day cleaning my room while listening to Bjork, and after I was all done the song "Army of Me" played, which sparked some inspiration for a photo shoot. I experimented with mirrors to create the illusion of clones (I didn't layer one image on top of the other on photoshop, that's how the picture was taken). As for the outfit, I was feeling a bit lazy so I just layered a few pieces, and I didn't like the mustache for this concept so I just covered my face with a turban. I come up with the most ridiculous ideas, sometimes I laugh at my own pictures and think to myself "I wonder if people think I'm like crazy?". Whatever, people can say or think whatever they want about me, I'm just having fun!

Even though we're in the middle of winter, it feels like it's Spring, or at least it does here in Southern California. I love it, but it sort of sucks because I was looking forward to wearing lots of layers, and some of the fur coats that I never get to wear out. Today was another warm day, but I was really bored so I decided to play dress-up and utilize some of my fur accessories to create a look that I would perhaps wear during an ice-age.Yeah, I highly doubt that will ever happen in my life time, but I like using my imagination, OK. lol.

It's January 31, just another Tuesday, but it also happens to be my birthday. Yep, I am now 24 years old. I feel completely indifferent about it, mostly because I am not doing anything exciting to celebrate. At first I wanted to go out and party, but instead I decided to spend the money I was saving up on clothes, shoes, music, and movies. I got some pretty awesome things which will keep me entertained/happy for a while, so I am not complaining at all. I've recently developed a new interest in vinyl records, and now I am obsessed with buying LPs. In just two days I acquired about 50 of them! I have everything from Skeeter Davis, Aretha Franklin, Eurythmics, to even the Star Wars soundtrack. But anyways, enough of that, I decided to have a mini makeover, and get rid of my beard and just leave a mustache. I haven't done that in a very long time. I sort of like it, but I highly doubt I will keep it for long. I also had a quick photo-shoot today. I guess you can call this look my birthday outfit. It was planned that I would wear this if I was going to go out and celebrate, but since those plans were canceled I decided to play dress-up and take pictures. The johdpur style pants were a gift from my friend Derek, I just love the exaggerated sides. I bought the leather jacket, and pointy boots recently at a new thrift store by where I live, and everything else I already had.

Sometimes I feel like I have to force myself to play-dress up, or at least that's how I've been feeling lately. Like today I was feeling really down and I didn't want to do anything, except just lay in bed. But then I thought about my blog and how much I've been neglecting it, and that made me more sad because my blog is one of the very few things that keeps me motivated/inspired/busy/happy. So I forced myself out of bed and went through my closet to seek inspiration. I was quickly gravitated towards a silver lamé underskirt, that I bought a few months ago, and a tiered hat, my good friend Oscar gave me. As I played with other pieces I pulled out, I came up with this clown concept. I don't know how I feel about clowns, they don't scare me and they don't amuse me, but it seemed like a good idea. Well anyways, I hope these blues go away soon, and hopefully I feel more inspired/motivated to play dress-up more often.

When I am asked what inspires me, one of my answers is Nature. More specifically, animals. There are so many different kinds of species, in all sorts of shapes and colors, and I have been inspired by them in several ways, specially when it comes to my outfits. For example, the moment I saw a picture of a cobalt blue tarantula (haplopelma lividum), I was mesmerized by it's beauty and I knew I had to come up with an outfit that was inspired by it one day. Well a couple of days ago I was playing with some new stuff I bought at the thrift store, and it just so happened that the colors matched those of the cobalt blue tarantula. Actually, I didn't realize it until a friend of mine pointed it out when I posted a webcam picture of it on facebook. Today I decided to dress-up the outfit more by adding the bear fur hat and applying makeup, and then I had this photo shoot. P.S. I still don't have a camera, my sister just let me borrow hers, BUT my friend is selling me his old Canon for a very good price so I will once again have a camera very soon. =)

Ugh, it feels like it has been months since the last time I blogged, and I apologize for that. I returned the digital camera I bought because it was taking really bad night pictures, and instead of replacing it with another one, I spent the money foolishly on some DVDs and other crap. Obviously I regret doing that. Now I have no camera, and no money to buy one, which is the reason I haven't been blogging. Well anyways, today I decided to play dress-up and record a video with my stupid webcam. I then took still shots from the video and used those as the images you see above. I guess I will have to continue doing that until I can buy another digital camera. Lame!

This morning I decided to tape newspaper on my wall to create a back drop. Then I proceeded to take it further and create a design on top of it using black string. After I was done, my next step was to come up with an outfit that would compliment this back drop, but I was having a hard time thinking of something I could wear. I posted a picture of the backdrop on my facebook wall, and a good friend of mine suggested I do an Alexander McQueen inspired look. I then immediately thought of his Fall 2009 collection, which consisted of lots of fur, exaggerated silhouettes, head pieces, and a black, white, and red color scheme. So I went through my closet, pulled out a bunch of black black clothes and this is what I came up with. I didn't want to take the inspiration literal so I did my makeup different, and created a head piece that was actually inspired by John Galliano's Spring 2003 collection. I used a fan to help me create the balloon "skirt" effect. Overall I really like this look, and now I think it's one of my favorites.

I love how I always find things in my closet that I forget I even had, and this is good example of that. I found the jacket and mini dress hiding in a laundry basket. They worked perfectly together to create this look.

It has been a while since I last blogged and the reason behind that is due to the fact that I didn't have a camera. My sister took it back, but I was finally able to borrow it today so I took advantage and took these pictures. I actually wore the first look last Friday night to a Halloween house party in L.A. (I was supposed to be Isabella Blow). That night was so out of control, I saw a lot of familiar faces, got really drunk, danced, and I can't remember what happened after that. I woke up in a friend of friend's car, still in full costume, not knowing where I was, with no phone or wallet, and still drunk. I had to walk all the way back to my friend's house wearing this and feeling totally disoriented. It was funny because it was like 9 am and I was walking the streets of L.A. with that mask and hat and the red lips so people kept staring and honking at me. I was so out of it that I just ignored everything and everyone, I just wanted to get to my destination, take off my boots and pass the fuck out. On Saturday night I went to some other parties and dressed as a character from a Fellini film. I should be posting pictures of that look soon. I guess that's all that has happened since I've been gone.

I've always wanted to do an underwater photo shoot so that is what I did today. Well I'm not completely underwater but whatever.lol. I actually started this shoot with wearing a colorful and sheer blouse, but the colors clashed so I decided to get rid of it and just be adorned by the flowers tied around my neck. I don't really know how the water turned pink, I think it was from the blouse or the wig, but I definitely wasn't complaining. It worked out perfectly. My bathroom was a mess after I was done, water everywhere. It would have been a lot better if I wasn't the model and photographer at the same time. I can't wait 'til I find someone who is willing to be my "guinea pig" so I don't have to do like 10 things at once. It will make my life a lot easier and more fun! P.S. I was suppose to post pictures from my trip to L.A. this past weekend, but I was so drunk and/or high that all the pictures I took were really stupid and not worth sharing. Oh and I lost my phone the first night there so yeah now someone has access to everything that was saved in it. No nudes, but there were pictures of me and friends in crazy outfits and some videos of us getting high and acting really foolish. Anyways, I've been in bed pretty much all week recovering from the weekend, but today I finally had the energy to play dress-up and this is what I came up with. I have mentioned several times in my blog how much of an inspiration Isabella Blow has been to me. I probably wouldn't be the person I am today if it wasn't for her. Every time I look at a picture of her I get sad because it reminds me that she is no longer with us. I think it's really unfortunate that she had to take her own life, but I can empathize with what she was going through and I know how it can be a hard battle to fight. Regardless of what happened, I still deeply admire her and will forever consider her to be a hero. I love and miss you very much Issy. There will never be anyone like you. R.I.P.

I had mentioned in the previous post that I was going through an uninspiring period, and I didn't have the motivation or energy to play dress-up. Well Saturday morning I went thrift store shopping and I was very lucky to find this beautiful vintage embroidered Japanese robe. I was so excited about it because it's in such great condition condition, the colors are really pretty and it was only $3.50! Today I got rid of the creases it had, and afterwards I felt very inspired to play with it. Instead of wearing as it was meant to be I tied it around my waist and transformed it into a skirt. I am glad that this robe came into my life. I am in love with it, and I can't wait to wear it out.

Ugh I'm currently going through one of those periods in which I feel completely uninspired to do anything. I don't want to play dress-up, draw, paint, create stuff, etc. I have no energy to be creative and that's making me really frustrated. That is why I haven't been posting anything lately, and I apologize for that. I don't like posting mediocre stuff just to keep my blog updated, and art shouldn't be something you feel obligated to do. So that is why I'm not pressuring myself into doing anything that I don't feel passionate about. Hopefully I come out of this dark hole and go back to my normal self soon. Tomorrow I'm going thrift store shopping, maybe I will find some really awesome stuff that will inspire me to play dress-up. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Well anyways, this afternoon I took a picture of my reflection in my mom's doll house and I liked it so I thought I'd share it. I hope everyone has a great weekend. <3

The first fashion book I ever bought was "Galliano" by Colin McDowell, many years ago when I was in high school. Actually John Galliano is the first designer who inspired me to become so obsessed with fashion. I remember secretly (I was not allowed to have an interest in fashion when I was young) going through one of my sister's magazines and seeing an editorial with some of the looks from his Spring 2003 collection, and I fell in love. From that point on I followed John Galliano's career both at Dior and his own line. His couture shows at Dior always amazed me, they were dramatic, innovative, inspirational, fun, everything a fashion show should be. As I grew up, my obsession with fashion expanded into following other designers, but I've always had a special place in my heart for Galliano. I was very sad/disappointed when that infamous incident happened forcing him to resign from Dior. I don't think anyone can live up to what he has done at Dior and I feel that he deserves a second chance. I want John Galliano back!

Well this is not exactly the outfit I wanted to photograph today. I had another idea for a look that consisted of a lot less clothes but the concept required me to be outside and it had to be windy. Unfortunately there was no wind at all so I had postpone that look for another time. I still wanted to play dress-up though so I came up with this look which was inspired by my next door neighbor's horses that were outside grazing. I would definitely wear this outfit if I were to go horse back riding during the winter, minus the makeup of course.

I woke up really early today in a mood to go through my closet and see what new outfits I can put together, and while doing this I found a bin full of clothes I didn't even know I had! It was a bunch of very old stuff that I thought was thrown away or that my mom had sold. I was happy to find some things I liked including the shirt and trousers I am wearing above. The hat I've had for many year but have only worn once and the wig was actually blonde but I dyed it orange to match the shirt. Oh and yes I shaved again! I really didn't want to but it was necessary to have a clean face for this particular character. I wish I had a really pretty twin sister so she could be my muse/dress-up "guinea-pig" and then I wouldn't have to shave. I hate shaving!

Ugh I did absolutely nothing fun this Labor Day weekend, what a waste of precious time. I did however illustrate a picture for a look book, but I'm not sure if it will be used or not. Just another boring weekend with nothing to do but to go through my closet and play dress-up. This look was inspired by the dresses with the horse hair trimming in the Helmut Lang Fall 2004 show (I couldn't find any good pictures to share). I used these very large pleated pants and transformed them into a "dress" with help of suspenders which I used a "harness". For the horse hair trimming I cut a wig in half and sprayed painted the top layer white. And that's how I created this look.

When I was really young, maybe eight or nine years old, I use to get a needle and thread and pierce the skin of my palms to sew designs into it. I know it sounds really creepy and weird, specially considering how old I was, but I thought it was fun. I don't even know where I got the idea to do that sort of thing. I grew out of it very quickly and I didn't do it again until now. Last night I watched Björk's music video for Pagan Poetry, one of my favorite music videos ever (I've watched it over 100 times for sure), and I couldn't stop thinking about the beautiful visuals. When I was laying in bed getting ready to sleep I thought about the pearls that seem to be pierced to Björk's body and I got the idea of reviving my childhood bad habit but giving it a Pagan Poetry makeover. So earlier today I went through my mom's beads and luckily I was able to find a strand of small faux pearls. I then proceeded to get a needle and thread and begin the process. At first I was a bit hesitant because it had been many years since I'd done this, and I was worried about potential pain involved. But I got over my fear quickly and after I pierced the skin of my palm I felt little to no pain so I just kept going until I was all done. It did sting a little bit, and there were a couple of moments that a little tiny bit of blood came out, but it was all worth it. Although it kept me busy for a few hours and it looks really pretty, I probably won't be sewing pearls to the skin again. P.S. Isn't my cat Lulu so cute ( I have three black cats). =^.^=

In addition I have been watching youtube videos of her live performances from the Ray of Light era, also known as her "dark" phase, which is one of my favorite Madonna's ever-changing phases. I was inspired to play dress-up last night and pay tribute to one of her most infamous looks, the Japanese Geisha.

P.S. I found out a while ago through facebook that today is actually Madonna's Birthday!!! What a coincidence! Happy Birthday Madonna, I love you.

This is the second and last part to this story, and as you can see it is pretty much the opposite from the first part. I wanted to do a softer look for this character so I played with lighting and got rid of the tears. I was inspired by French fashion from the 1920's-1930's, a bit of Coco Chanel. And although I love the color black, I also "secretly" love the color pink which played a big role with this look.

This last picture doesn't fit in with the rest, but I really like it so I thought I'd add it anyways.lol.

I went thrift store shopping yesterday afternoon in search of a wedding dress for a photo-shoot idea that I had, but unfortunately I didn't find any that I liked. Instead I bought this really pretty veil, and a white satin shirt, and because of that I had to change my original plans. I used my imagination to think of another character and I came up with a multiple part story. I had a lot of fun making the accessories and playing with makeup for this particular character. I will be posting the second part tomorrow or whenever I get the chance.

Yep your eyes are not playing tricks on you, that is me without a beard. I haven't been feeling like myself lately, I don't know if it's because the loss of my dog or what, but I decided that I wanted a change. I looked at myself in the mirror two nights ago and I felt like I was looking at a stranger and not me. Anyways, usually when I want change I shave my beard so that is what I did. I don't feel better without it, but I do like the fact that I have more options when I am playing dress-up because the beard is not in the way. I definitely won't be keeping the clean shaven look for long, it's just not me.

A few weeks ago I was in L.A. visiting my good friend and amazing fashion designer, Oscar Olima. He thought it would be a good idea to contact our friend Jeffrey Baum, who's a talented photographer and makeup artist, and ask him if he was up for having an impromptu photo-shoot, which he gladly said yes to. I didn't come prepared for this shoot since it was totally spare of the moment, so we just used the clothes I had brought for the weekend and some pieces from Olima's archive. We were very quick about it because it was very hot that day and I was melting under those thick jackets and coats. Not to mention the pain from the shoes which were 3 sizes too small for me, but it was so worth it. We even let Olima's dog, Hitler, join in on the fun and as you can see he worked his modeling skills very well.lol. I am very fortunate to know very talented and creative people who are also delightful to work/collaborate with. =)

I was very depressed all day yesterday because of what happened to my little dog, and I couldn't get it out of my mind. The only think I could think of that would temporarily get rid of my blues was to take a long shower and play dress-up. I decided on an all black outfit that was appropriate for the way I was feeling. Alejandro Jodorowsky's "The Holy Mountain", another one of my favorite films, was a source of inspiration for this look. The hat is actually two hats, one stacked on top of the other. The bottom one was a straw hat that I painted black, and the top one was a western hat which I then made into a fez shaped hat by cutting off the brim. Playing dress-up definitely cheered me up for a few hours, but now I am still sad and mourning. I hope I can get through these sour times and be happy again.

Today has been the saddest day of my life. This morning my dog Puppie passed away. I rather not disclose the cause of death because it is too tragic and sad. I still can't believe that within a split moment he was gone, and the worst part is that I had to witness it and I couldn't do anything about it. I raised him since he was 8 weeks old, and we had so many fun and memorable moments. Puppie was always full of energy and although at times it was a bit too much, now I look back and realize that he was just a very happy dog that was full of love. I am very sad that his life was cut short and I am also mad that he had to die the way he did. I will never forget about my little prince. Puppie I love you and I will miss you. I am so sorry for the way you had to go, you will always be in my thoughts and in my heart. R.I.P. <3

I woke up way too early today, and I needed something to do to kill time, so naturally I decided to play dress-up. I turned on my ipod and began listening to Rasputina, which inspired this look. Rasputina is a Goth Folk Rock band and they are known for their historical allegories and fashion, especially those pertaining to the Victorian era. My outfit isn't very Victorian other than the corset, and maybe the hair, but hey, I only work with what I have in my closet, and this is the best I could do. I kidnapped that cherub statue thing from my mom's living room, and replaced the cherry blossoms that were in it with freshly picked roses from my garden. Anyways, I managed to kill only 3 hours with this photo-shoot and spent the rest of the day trying to decide which pictures to post. =/

I have been really uninspired these past couple weeks and haven't been motivated to draw, paint, or even play dress-up. But yesterday I was going through my closet and this silver sequin dress, that I bought about two weeks ago at a local thrift store, grabbed my attention and I decided to pull it out and play with it. My inspiration for the look was disco with a dark vibe to it. The wig I am wearing has actually been featured a lot in past posts, but I cut it shorter and teased the ends to give it more volume (P.S. I am no hair stylist and have never taken any courses on hair, so yeah it could have definitely been bigger and better). Anyways, after this dress-up session I am now feeling more inspired and have some more great ideas for outfits so I will be posting more looks soon. =)

During Summer when it's unbearably hot I prefer to wear loose fitting trousers to get as much air ventilation as possible, and avoid leg sweat (which is very uncomfortable and gross). My favorite pair at the moment are these wide leg trousers I bought many years ago at a Salvation Army, but just recently started wearing. The fit and the leg wideness are pretty much perfect. I love that they make me look a foot taller.

I would like to apologize for the lack of activity on my blog lately, but I don't have internet at my house anymore so I haven't been able to post anything. Also I haven't been feeling inspired or motivated to play dress-up or draw/paint and as a result I have been wasting away spending most of my days on my bed either sleeping or watching television. I am my sister's house right now stealing her internet and catching up on whatever I have missed this past week. Oh one more thing, I was fortunate enough to go to San Francisco two weeks ago with my very good friend David for Pride weekend. I had sooooo much fun and I really did not want to leave. This was only my second time going and I fell more in love with the city. The weather is pretty much perfect, the culture is great, and the food is delicious. My goal is to move there sometime soon. I am absolutely loving this collection by Pedro Lourenço for Resort 2012! I love the asymmetry, graphics, color palette, shapes, metallic sunglasses, and well just about everything about it appeals to me. All the looks are simple yet possess a great deal of drama/sophistication and they are perfect for Spring/Summer. There is definitely a Balenciaga by Nicolas Ghesquiere essence to the clothes, which is probably another reason why I love them so much. I look forward to seeing Pedro Lourenço's future collections.

This morning I was listening to The Vespertine Park by Gavin Bryars and for some reason the memorable image of Anna Wintour in Chanel Haute Couture came into thought. I was immediately inspired and I had to draw her. She looks like a saint from a futuristic planet, sort of like in the Fifth Element. LOL. Yeah this is what I wore last Monday to a club called Mustache Mondays, in L.A. I am a wearing vintage over-sized top that I made into a wrap mini-dress, the belt and gloves are second hand, and I customized the wig and bag myself. Anyways, I had so much fun that night! Saw many friends, danced, and flipped my hair a lot. =D

I apologize for the lack of posts these past two weeks but I have been so out of it mentally and physically (if that even makes sense) that I have completely forgotten about my blog. I spent my last weekend in L.A. and that it self totally fucked up with my concentration and my ability to think creatively. I had fun though, saw a lot of friends, and wore many outfits. Hopefully pictures of those outfits surface up soon so I can post them. Well anyways, I just wanted to let you guys know that I am still alive and will recover from this creative dry spell very soon.
